At BrightPath Assessment & Therapy, we believe families should have clear, upfront information about costs.

All fees are transparent, with no hidden charges. Payment is not required at the point of enquiry, and fees are confirmed before any assessment or therapy takes place.

Dyslexia Assessment

Comprehensive Dyslexia Assessment for Children & Young People

£595

A comprehensive diagnostic dyslexia assessment carried out in line with SASC guidance and current best practice.

The fee includes:

• A detailed background and developmental history

• Parent and teacher questionnaires

• Assessment of reading, spelling and writing skills

• Assessment of phonological processing, memory and processing speed

• Integrated speech and language screening where appropriate

• Identification of your child’s strengths as well as areas of difficulty

• A comprehensive written diagnostic report

• Individualised recommendations for home and school

• A parent feedback session to discuss the assessment findings and recommendations

Payment is arranged following the assessment, with full payment required before the completed report is released.

Speech & Language Assessment

£150

Suitable where concerns relate primarily to speech, language or communication, and a dyslexia assessment is not indicated.

The assessment includes:

• Case history and background information

• Informal and formal assessment of speech and/or language skills

• Observation of communication strengths and areas of need

• Clear explanation of the assessment findings

• Practical advice and recommendations for next steps

This assessment does not include the comprehensive diagnostic report required for a dyslexia assessment, which is reflected in the fee.

Speech & Language Therapy

Individual Therapy Sessions

£60 per session

Therapy sessions are tailored to your child’s individual needs following assessment.

Sessions may focus on:

• Speech sound development

• Language understanding and expression

• Vocabulary and narrative skills

• Communication strategies to support learning and everyday life

Block booking options can be discussed following assessment.

Therapy sessions are only offered following a BrightPath speech and language assessment, where ongoing support is felt to be appropriate.

Please note speech and language therapy is not a core BrightPath service. However, following a BrightPath assessment, a limited number of therapy sessions may occasionally be offered where this is considered appropriate and availability allows. Therapy is not currently available as a standalone service.

• Every family begins with an initial enquiry to ensure the most appropriate service is recommended.

• Payment can be made by BACS or PayPal.

• PayPal also provides the option to pay by debit or credit card, and may offer Pay in 3, subject to PayPal’s own terms, eligibility and approval.

• Appointments are arranged at a time and suitable location agreed with your family.
