Who this is for

This assessment is suitable for children and young people with concerns around:

• Speech clarity

• Language understanding or expression

• Vocabulary development

• Narrative skills

• Social communication

It may be recommended on its own, or following discussion where dyslexia is not the primary concern.

• Informal and formal assessment of speech and/or language skills

• Observation of communication strengths and needs

• Clear explanation of findings

• Advice on next steps

Outcome

Following the assessment, you will receive:

• A clear summary of findings

• Advice on whether therapy is recommended

• A proposed therapy plan where appropriate

This assessment does not involve the extensive diagnostic report required for a dyslexia assessment, which is why it is priced separately.

Speech & Language Therapy Sessions

Tailored Speech & Language Therapy
£60 per session

Therapy sessions are offered following an assessment and are tailored to your child’s individual communication needs.

Sessions may focus on:

• Speech sound development

• Language understanding and expression

• Narrative and vocabulary skills

• Communication strategies to support learning

Block booking options can be discussed following assessment.
